See this excellent video - funny and smart: School creativity, by Sir Ken Robinson— at my dear writer Paulo Coelho's Blog. This is a great example of fast-forwarded recording of cartooning for visual metaphors, along with alert and intelligent commentary. Melikes it! :)

It's worth repeating:

BBC Sport - Brazil football legend Socrates dies at 57. I show you a YouTube videoclip tribute. "Sócrates was a technical playmaker, known for great through passes and his vision on the field, as well as his physical strength. He was also a two-footed player and a prolific goal scorer. His ability to read the game was highly valued, and his signature move was the blind heel pass.[3] He was considered to be one of the greatest midfielders ever to play the game.[4] Easily recognizable for his beard and headband, he became the "symbol of cool for a whole generation of football supporters"" - Wikipedia. Also, I show you some stamps with OTHER Brazilian players, from my showcase/samples collection (at least 1 stamp from every theme of interest)

BBC Sport - Brazil football legend Socrates dies at 57

"Sócrates Brasileiro Sampaio de Souza Vieira de Oliveira, MD, (19 February 1954 – 4 December 2011), more commonly known simply as Sócrates, was a Brazilian footballer. He was also a qualified doctor, and was the elder brother of Raí, who was a member of Brazil's World Cup winning squad in 1994.
He played for Botafogo-SP, before joining Corinthians in 1978. He spent six years with the club, scoring 172 goals in 297 league games. He then moved to Italy to play for Fiorentina, before retuning to Brazil to end his career with Flamengo and Santos. He is best remembered outside of his homeland for the sixty caps he won playing internationally for Brazil; he captained his country at the 1982 FIFA World Cup, and also appeared at the 1986 World Cup, the 1979 Copa América, and the 1983 Copa América – appearing in the defeat to Uruguay in the 1983 finals. He was named South American Footballer of the Year in 1983, and was named on Pelé's FIFA 100 list in 2004.

Benefits

Carambolas in varying stages of ripeness
Carambola is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C and low in sugar, sodium and acid. It is also a potent source of both primary and secondary polyphenolic antioxidants.[6] A. carambola has both antioxidant and antimicrobial activities: scavenging of NO by the fruit extract is dependent on concentration and stage of ripening. Extracts showed antimicrobial activity against E. coliSalmonella typhi,Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus cereus.[citation needed]

[edit]Risks

Carambola is a fairly complex fruit with many benefits, but like strawberries[citation needed], a small percentage of the human population should be cautious of the fruit for health reasons. Carambola contains oxalic acid, which can be harmful to individuals suffering from kidney failure, kidney stones, or those under kidney dialysis treatment. Consumption by those with kidney failure can produce hiccups, vomiting, nausea, and mental confusion. Fatal outcomes have been documented in some patients.[7][8][9][10][11][12]

[edit]Drug interactions

Like the grapefruit, carambola is considered to be a potent inhibitor of seven cytochrome P450 isoforms.[13][14] These enzymes are significant in the first-pass elimination of many medicines, and thus, the consumption of carambola or its juice in combination with certain medications can significantly increase their effective dosage within the body. Research into grapefruit juice has identified a number of common medications affected, including statins, which are commonly used to treat cardiovascular illness, and benzodiazepines (a tranquilizer family including diazepam).[15]"

#2:
"Dorincard: Blogger Dorin C is a stamp and postcard fanatic, and luckily he's more than pleased to write prolifically and charmingly about his obsession. He has a particular bent for stamps with wild mammals on them, but his blog demonstrates an affinity for stamps of all forms and backgrounds, as long as they offer a special narrative that's worth sharing with his readers.

and interests he likes to share.
His enthusiasm for Maximum cards (a postcard and a similar themed stamps sent through the

He shows how he gets the right card, stamp and postmark together.
Visiting his site you will also learn things about the natural world told with a dry sense of humour,

Topical and informative both for the enthusiast and casual visitor.
