Not an endangered species for the fur-seal-able future: The SUBANTARCTIC FUR SEAL (Arctocephalus tropicalis); did you notice the misnomer TROPICALIS, when in fact it's SUBANTARCTIC? WWF maximum cards / maxicards / dorincards from the exotic TRISTAN DA CUNHA. the remotest (most remote) archipelago on Earth!

"The subantarctic fur seal (Arctocephalus tropicalis) is a fur seal found in the southern parts of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. It was first described by Gray in 1872 from a specimen recovered in northern Australia—hence the inappropriate tropicalis specific name."

"The subantarctic fur seal is medium-sized compared with other fur seals. Males grow to 2 m and 160 kg, whereas females are substantially smaller—1.4 m and 50 kg.
Both sexes have a distinctive creamy-orange chest and face."
[No, we're not talking here about the New Jersey shore-style of orange sun-tanning.]

"The belly is more brownish. Males have a dark grey to black back. The female's is a lighter grey. Pups are black at birth, but molt at about three months old. The snout is short and flat. The flippers are short and broad. Subantarctic fur seals live for about 20-25 years."

The Meter Stamp Society -www.meterstampsociety.com - World Personal Postage
"Countries all over the world now have postage products that have some form of personal images on the stamps. Some allow a user's supplied image on the stamp. Some allow the user image on a label next to the stamp. There are variations of this. Canada started in 1994 with a stamp that had a round hole. The mailers were encouraged to paste the stamp over their own photo. Australia at the Australia 99 show provided stamps with the user's picture on a label next to the stamp.

This table attempts to provide a fairly complete list of countries that provide some form of Personal Postage stamp product. The list, by its nature will have to change."

What is missing from this webpage above is the name of the BEST source [in my personal, but practical expert opinion :) ] of CUSTOMIZED POSTAGE / PERSONALIZED STAMPS / PERSONALISED STAMPS:
ZAZZLE
The USA vendor list shows Pitney Bowes, which is a partner of Zazzle, but Zazzle is the single best (in a class by itself, above the rest) source for designing, buying and selling them.
Trust me!
And if you don't trust me yet on that, why don't you go ahead and research the issue, including my philatelic blog here, and then come back to talk with me.
You do that.

Top 30 Stamp Collecting Blogs, by guidetoartschools.com

#2:
"Dorincard: Blogger Dorin C is a stamp and postcard fanatic, and luckily he's more than pleased to write prolifically and charmingly about his obsession. He has a particular bent for stamps with wild mammals on them, but his blog demonstrates an affinity for stamps of all forms and backgrounds, as long as they offer a special narrative that's worth sharing with his readers.

Postcards and stamps, mainly featuring mammals and birds but Dorincard also has other creations
and interests he likes to share.
His enthusiasm for Maximum cards (a postcard and a similar themed stamps sent through the
    postal system) shines through.
He shows how he gets the right card, stamp and postmark together.
Visiting his site you will also learn things about the natural world told with a dry sense of humour,
possibly with a play on words, and a unique style of headings.
Topical and informative both for the enthusiast and casual visitor.
