What's the difference between butterflies and moths? Also, butterflies and moths on stamps from my collection. Part 2: Nicaragua, Grenada [catch THAT, Bruno Mars! :) ], Belize, Cuba, Dominica, Polska, CCCP, USA, R.O.C., Haute-Volta, Maldives, Rep. Rwandaise, Rep. Centrafricaine and Rep. Malgache (=Madagascar - no, Bubba, that ain't some kind of NASCAR)

"I wonder what that country name means..."
For y'all wonderers:
Cuba = Cuba Libre, free of capitalists, except some at Guantanamo Bay. Bay of Pigs is something else.
"Bay of Pigs (Spanish: Bahía de Cochinos) is an inlet of the Gulf of Cazones on the southern coast of Cuba. "
"The English translation of cochinos as pigs is erroneous. In the Caribbean, it is a common name for the Orangeside triggerfish (Sufflamen verres), that inhabits coral reefs in Bahía de Cochinos, rather than swine (Sus scrofa)."
[MY NOTE: Now, if you want to catch some of that triggerfish (there are some at Gitmo, too), who may have triggered terror, you shouldn't be...trigger-happy.

Squeeze the intel(ligence/strategic information, in military sense) out of them.
You know why?
Coz there's INTEL INSIDE!!!. :)
Don't just "Texas shoot'em".
Instead, try to surf near them, using a surfboard. Some call it...waterboard.
Hey! Whatever gets the job done.]

Polska = Poland.
CCCP = USSR.
R.O.C. = Republic of China = Taiwan (while mainland China is People's Republic of China).
Haute-Volta = Burkina Faso (not that you have a less foggy idea now).
Rep. Malgache = MADAGASCAR (no, Bubba, that ain't some kind of NASCAR)

What's the difference between butterflies and moths?
"A moth is an insect closely related to the butterfly, both being of the order Lepidoptera
Moths form the majority of this order; there are thought to be 150,000 to 250,000 different species of moth (about ten times the number of species of butterfly), with thousands of species yet to be described.[1]
Most species of moth are nocturnal, but there are crepuscular and diurnal species."

"Butterflies comprise the true butterflies (superfamily Papilionoidea),
the skippers (superfamily Hesperioidea
and the moth-butterflies (superfamily Hedyloidea).
[MY NOTE: moth-butterflies...very clever name, to distinguish between the two.
How stupid helpful is that? :) ]
All the many other families within the Lepidoptera are referred to as moths."

Guantanamo Bay - INTEL INSIDE!!!

This is how you should pamper your significant OTHER (not OTTER): you keep him, or her, or the intersex person (formerly labeled as true hermaphrodite), in the palm of your hand, figuratively. Like a baby hedgehog, or like a mini-piglet. If you neglect your OTHER, it may turn into a spiny HEDGEHOG that won't hedge your funds. Or into a HOG that will hog your funds. Lovely maxicard from UK - say Awww...

Pamper, or neglect? The choice is yours. The aftermath, too.
Actions have consequences, and so do inactions.
Don't turn your OTHER into The Last Inaction Hero!
What! You don't want a piece of the action?
Choose "In ACTION", rather than "INACTION".
Don't leave your OTHER to be either "palmless", or empty-handed, because they will ...put something in that hand, whatever that means...
Life... a hands-on experience.
What's in YOUR palm?

"hedgehog is any of the spiny mammals of the subfamily Erinaceinae and the order Erinaceomorpha
There are 17 species of hedgehog in five genera, found through parts of EuropeAsiaAfrica, and New Zealand (by introduction).
There are no hedgehogs native to Australia, and no living species native to the Americas (although fossils of at least four extinct species were discovered in South America).
Hedgehogs share distant ancestry with shrews (order Soricidae), with gymnures possibly being the intermediate link, and have changed little over the last 15 million years.[2]
Like many of the first mammals they have adapted to a nocturnal, insectivorous way of life.

The name 'hedgehog' came into use around the year 1450, derived from the Middle English'heyghoge', from 'heyg', 'hegge' = hedge, because it frequents hedgerows, and 'hoge', 'hogge' = hog, from its piglike snout.[3]
Other names include 'urchin', 'hedgepig' and 'furze-pig' ."

Put enthusiasm in everything you do.
Sucking with enthusiasm - look at the hind legs of this piglet below. One leg appears to be lifted, in the thrust for his "Got milk?" quest.

"A pig is any of the animals in the genus Sus, within the Suidae family of even-toed ungulates
Pigs include the domestic pig, its ancestor the wild boar, and several other wild relatives.
Pigs are omnivores and are highly social and intelligent animals."

#2:
"Dorincard: Blogger Dorin C is a stamp and postcard fanatic, and luckily he's more than pleased to write prolifically and charmingly about his obsession. He has a particular bent for stamps with wild mammals on them, but his blog demonstrates an affinity for stamps of all forms and backgrounds, as long as they offer a special narrative that's worth sharing with his readers.

Postcards and stamps, mainly featuring mammals and birds but Dorincard also has other creations
and interests he likes to share.
His enthusiasm for Maximum cards (a postcard and a similar themed stamps sent through the
    postal system) shines through.
He shows how he gets the right card, stamp and postmark together.
Visiting his site you will also learn things about the natural world told with a dry sense of humour,
possibly with a play on words, and a unique style of headings.
Topical and informative both for the enthusiast and casual visitor.
