It has no claw on the opposable thumbs - Derby's Woolly Opossum (Caluromys derbianus), or the Central American Woolly Opossum. WWF maximum cards / maxicards / dorincards / ilustrate maxime / cartes maximum / tarjetas maximas / Maximumkarten from BELIZE

"Derby's Woolly Opossum (Caluromys derbianus), or the Central American Woolly Opossum, is a species of opossum in the family Didelphidae.[2][3] It is found in the Central American region."
"C. derbianus lives in highland and lowland rain forests of BelizeColombiaCosta RicaEcuador,GuatemalaHondurasMexicoNicaragua, and Panama. It's range extends to a maximum altitude of 2,460 m (8,070 ft). It is threatened by habitat loss."
"The litter size is 3-6 live young that attach to a teat in the pouch until mature enough to emerge."

Why do so many people confuse It's with Its? :)

"Belize (Listeni/bəˈlz/; formerly British Honduras) is a constitutional monarchy, and the northernmost Central American nation. Belize has a diverse society, comprising many cultures and languages. Even though Kriol and Spanish are spoken among the population, Belize is the only country in Central America where English is the official language. Belize is bordered to the north by Mexico, south and west by Guatemala, and to the east by the Caribbean Sea. Belize’s mainland is about 290 kilometers (180 miles) long and 110 kilometers (68 miles) wide.
With 22,960 square kilometers (8,867 square miles) of land and a population of only 333,200 people (2010 est.),[4] Belize possesses the lowest population density in Central America.[5] The country's population growth rate of 2.21% (2008 est.),[1] however, is the highest in the region and one of the highest in the western hemisphere. Belize's abundance of terrestrial and marine species, and its diversity of ecosystems give it a key place within the globally significant Mesoamerican Biological Corridor.[6]
Belize is culturally unique among its Central American neighbours; it is the only nation in the region with a British colonial heritage. As a part of the Western Caribbean Zone, however, it also shares a common heritage with the Caribbean portions of other Central American countries. In general, Belize is considered to be a Central American nation with strong ties to both the Caribbean and Latin America."

Not a true jaguar, leopard or wildcat: The OCELOT (Leopardus pardalis), also known as the dwarf leopard or McKenney's wildcat. Not a true ocelot: The MARGAY (Leopardus wiedii), also known as the Tree Ocelot. WWF maximum cards from El Salvador

Upper-left (UL) and LL :  The OCELOT (Leopardus pardalis). Mostly terrestrial.
UR and LR: The MARGAY (Leopardus wiedii), also known as the Tree Ocelot. Mostly arboricol.

"The name ocelot comes from the Nahuatl word ōcēlōtl (pronounced [oːˈseːloːtɬ]), which usually refers to the jaguar (Panthera onca) rather than the ocelot."
"The ocelot's genus Leopardus consists of nine similar species to the ocelot, such as Geoffroy's cat and the margay, which are also endemic to South and Central America
All of the cats in the Leopardus genus are spotted, lithe, and small, with the ocelot being the biggest of its genus."
Salvador Dalí and Babou the ocelot.
Guess which of the two was WILDER? :)

How many TEATS has YOUR pet cat? Go check.
DID YOU KNOW that MARK WAHLBERG has more nipples than a MARGAY, who has only 2...???
Mark Wahlberg, actor and producer as well as Calvin Klein underwear model and former singer known as Marky Mark, has a third nipple.[9]  He famously spoke about it to the press before considering an operation to have it removed, but has since reneged, citing his third nipple as his "prized possession"."

"The margay is very similar to the larger ocelot in appearance, although the head is a little shorter, the eyes larger, and the tail and legs longer.
It weighs from 2.6 to 4 kilograms (5.7 to 8.8 lb), with a body length of 48 to 79 centimetres (19 to 31 in), and a tail length of 33 to 51 centimetres (13 to 20 in).
Unlike most other cats, the female possesses only two teats."

"So, why do men have nipples? Because females do."

"The "female template" is the default for humans."
"Their advantage in females, in terms of reproductive success, is clear.
But because the genetic "default" is for males and females to share characters, the presence of nipples in males is probably best explained as a genetic correlation that persists through lack of selection against them, rather than selection for them.
Interestingly, though, it could be argued that the occurrence of problems associated with the male nipple, such as carcinoma, constitutes contemporary selection against them.
In a sense, male nipples are analogous to vestigial structures such as the remnants of useless pelvic bones in whales: if they did much harm, they would have disappeared."

"Most notably the margay is a much more skillful climber than its relative, and it is sometimes called
the tree ocelot because of this ability.
Whereas the ocelot mostly pursues prey on the ground, the margay may spend its entire life in the trees, leaping after and chasing birds and monkeys through the treetops.
Indeed, it is one of only two cat species[4] with the ankle flexibility necessary to climb head-first down trees (the other being the clouded leopard).
It is remarkably agile; its ankles can turn up to 180 degrees,[5] it can grasp branches equally well with its fore and hind paws, and it is able to jump up to 12 feet (3.7 m) horizontally.[4]
The margay has been observed to hang from branches with only one foot.

The margay is considered[by whom?] to be the true jungle cat, because it spends almost its entire life in trees."

See, that's the NIPPLE, I mean RIPPLE EFFECT of researching hyperlinks in wikipedia...:)
Enough about teats unless YOU can never have enough...

Top 30 Stamp Collecting Blogs, by guidetoartschools.com

#2:
"Dorincard: Blogger Dorin C is a stamp and postcard fanatic, and luckily he's more than pleased to write prolifically and charmingly about his obsession. He has a particular bent for stamps with wild mammals on them, but his blog demonstrates an affinity for stamps of all forms and backgrounds, as long as they offer a special narrative that's worth sharing with his readers.

and interests he likes to share.
His enthusiasm for Maximum cards (a postcard and a similar themed stamps sent through the

He shows how he gets the right card, stamp and postmark together.
Visiting his site you will also learn things about the natural world told with a dry sense of humour,
