[MY NOTE: nymphomaniac means something else] It is found in southern Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia and all parts of the United States except the northwest, and is especially common in the south, the California coast, and throughout Central America and Colombia. The sub-species Junonia coenia bergi is endemic to the island of Bermuda."

"The bold pattern of eyespots and white bars on the upper wing surface is distinctive in much of its range, though compare related species in the same genus. (These are Mangrove Buckeye,Junonia evarete and Tropical Buckeye, Junonia genoveva, formerly considered one species, the Smoky Buckeye, Junonia evarete.) The eyespots likely serve to startle or distract predators, especially young birds. The species has many flights throughout the year, with mostly northward migrations for the summer. Much of the northern United States is only colonized in the fall from southern populations. Some of the later broods move southwards in the fall. Common buckeyes exhibit seasonal polyphenism, the summer version of the butterfly has light yellowish ventral wings and is called "linea". The Fall morph has pink ventral wings, and is called the "rosa" morph."

I show you WWF MAXIMUM CARDS / MAXICARDS / DORINCARDS from ARGENTINA, with  Vicuña (Vicugna vicugna) - uper-right,  Pampas Deer (Ozotoceros bezoarticus) - upper-left, Southern Pudú (Pudu puda) - lower-right, and Chacoan Peccary  (Catagonus wagneri) - lower-left.

Upper-left (UL): "Pampas deer, Ozotoceros bezoarticus, live in the grasslands of South America at low elevations.^[2] They are also known as Venado or Gama. Their habitat includes water and hills, often with winter drought, and grass that is high enough to cover a standing deer.^[3] Many of them live on the Pantanal wetlands, where there are ongoing conservation efforts, and other areas of annual flooding cycles. Human activity has changed much of the original landscape.^[4]They are known to live up to 12 years in the wild, longer if captive, but are threatened due to over-hunting and habitat loss.^[5] Many people are concerned over this loss, because a healthy deer population means a healthy grassland, and a healthy grassland is home to many species, some also threatened. Many North American birds migrate south to these areas, and if the Pampas deer habitat is lost, they are afraid these bird species will also decline.^[6] There are approximately 80,000 Pampas deer total, with the majority of them living in Brazil."

(LL) : "The Chacoan peccary or Tagua (Catagonus wagneri) is a species of peccary found in the dry shrub habitat or Chaco of Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina. About 3000 exist in the world. It is believed to be the closest living relative to the extinct genus Platygonus.

The Chacoan peccary has the unusual distinction of having been first described in 1930 based on fossils and was originally thought to be an extinct species. In 1975 the animal was discovered to still be alive and well in the Chaco region of Paraguay. The species was well known to the native people, but it took a while for scientists to rediscover its existence. It is known locally as the tagua."

DID YOU KNOW that USA has the largest percent of INCARCERATION of its population in the world? Meanwhile, the filthy rich masterminds of the economic crisis are enjoying themselves at our expense. NOT ONE is in prison for that! Also, I don't have (yet) a maxicard with African-American schoolchildren, so I show you one with "African-African" schoolchildren from BOPHUTHATSWANA (not Botswana, but the ex-bantustan from the REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA)

   Kelley Williams-Bolar Granted Clemency by Ohio Gov. John Kasich

   Ohio Gov. John Kasich on September 7 reduced the charges against Kelley Williams-Bolar, a single African-American mother jailed and convicted of a felony earlier this year for enrolling her children in a school district in which she did not live.

   The news came after more than 184,000 Change.org members emailed Kasich’s office in support of Williams-Bolar since January of this year, when her conviction sparked a viral campaign on Change.org created by Massachusetts resident Caitlin Lord (read Lord's account of why she started the petition).

   Alongside African-American citizen coalition ColorOfChange.org, Change.org members from around the country called Kasich’s office on Tuesday, September 6, urging him to pardon Williams-Bolar. Ohio’s Parole Board had recommended that Williams-Bolar not receive a reduction in sentencing.

   "Kelley is overjoyed by the Governor's decision," said David Singleton, executive director of the Ohio Justice and Policy Center and Williams-Bolar's attorney. "She would like to thank all of her supporters who were called to action through Change.org and ColorOfChange.org."
