Top 30 Stamp Collecting Blogs, by guidetoartschools.com
#2:
"Dorincard: Blogger Dorin C is a stamp and postcard fanatic, and luckily he's more than pleased to write prolifically and charmingly about his obsession. He has a particular bent for stamps with wild mammals on them, but his blog demonstrates an affinity for stamps of all forms and backgrounds, as long as they offer a special narrative that's worth sharing with his readers.

- Why We Love It: A picture-laden blog that bursts with the passion of its head writer for meaningful stamps.

- Maximum Delight
- Feb 21, 2011
Postcards and stamps, mainly featuring mammals and birds but Dorincard also has other creations
and interests he likes to share.
His enthusiasm for Maximum cards (a postcard and a similar themed stamps sent through the
postal system) shines through.
He shows how he gets the right card, stamp and postmark together.
Visiting his site you will also learn things about the natural world told with a dry sense of humour,
possibly with a play on words, and a unique style of headings.
Topical and informative both for the enthusiast and casual visitor.

LOL....love it
Hey, who are you calling a polly?
:-)
Funny that you should post this today.
I originally started my blog at the constant insistence of family and friends. I used to write long humorous letters (mostly of update) to them. They insisted I should post my writing on line for the world....yeah, whatever...
Well, no sooner had I set up a blog, did I lose the interest to write.
It was today that my sister confronted me on the matter; asking where are my funny stories, my detailed dialog.
I hadn't an answer for her.
Maybe some of us tend to parrot another because we have nothing to say, but just like to be in the midst of it all. Maybe some of us parrot others because we just feel the need to spread the word.
I suppose there are a zillion reasons......okay, maybe not a zillion.
Today, I posted a cookie recipe, a gold fob (for sale) and a little on the painting “Temptation” by A.W. Bouguereau, all under the heading of treats, treasures and temptations.....and all originated from someone else's words......someone else’s posting. But that is the whole point to my little weekly (TTT) post......I am sharing.
:-)
Wishing you a beautiful week ahead
