UPDATE: that monkey's carcass has been found. BREAKING NEWS: Monkey is the last exotic animal still at large in Ohio - CNN.com. "As of Wednesday afternoon, authorities had killed 49 animals -- 18 tigers, 17 lions, six black bears, two grizzly bears, three mountain lions, two wolves and a baboon. Another grizzly bear, three leopards and two monkeys had been captured and taken to a zoo, Lutz said."

Apparently, the owner wanted to unleash a deluge of his exotic animals onto the society who had thrown him in jail for 1 year, on illegal possession of firearms.
Then he shot himself dead.

How sad...

Out of some 1,400 tigers worldwide, 18 Bengal tigers were shot dead in Ohio, today.

Authorities should have kept a closer look, all these years, on the owners of dangerous, exotic animals.
